At last! I’m now connected!

Posted by: chocobread In: me

Because we moved out for a better home, it’s just now that I am able to blog again.  And it’s just now that I am able to play my favorite online game, and to chat with my relatives.

I miss this blog, although I only have a countful of posts.

I know my wife has been updating her blog at her office.  Lucky girl.  Anyway, I’ll try to catch up with you guys.  And check out your blogs too.

For now, I’ll be playing my online game.  I just missed it a lot.

We’re Moving Out!

Posted by: chocobread In: life

We would be moving to a new home.  It is still a rent but we don’t have any unit neighbors.  It’s our own place.  It’s kind of an apartment type.  But there is no first floor.  It would be a stair going up to house.  And the car parking space, we won’t need to think of “Would we have a place to park our car later?”  We have the lot in front of our house as our parking area.  And we are near to a store selling bread.

The only problem is, the market is about 9 blocks away.  There is no drug store around.  We would need to take a tricycle and walk two blocks to reach the 5th Ave Mercury Drug Store.  And my wife would need to take the tricycle and jeep to get to her office, instead of the jeepney ride.  The new house is also more far compare to the old one to my wife’s parent’s house.

Anyway, we move because of our little Ivan.  C-3 road is a busy place for big trucks, buses, vehicles and even the LRT.  Honking horns makes our Ivan wake up and sometimes cry.  So everything is for our Ivan, for his best.

We won some on the raffle!

Posted by: chocobread In: ivan

Yesterday lunch, we attended our association’s celebration for the Mooncake Festival.  There is a raffle.  I bought 6 raffle tickets each worth 200 Pesos.  So that’s 1,200 Pesos all in all.  Then luckily, two of our tickets were picked at the tiambolo.  We got 500 Pesos and the other one is 1,000 Pesos.  Yeheyyyyyyyy!!!

Baka sabihin ng iba luto kasi ako nag-aassist duon sa tiambolo.  The one who won the first prize which is worth 10,000 Pesos is a rich guy.  So he said he would just donate the money to the association.

Sayang, we are aiming for the first prize.  But it was fun!  And it’s the first time that we bring our little Ivan to a party.   I was so happy when I saw my little son smiling and laughing with other people.

A bra on top of our car

Posted by: chocobread In: life

Last morning, my wife and I just saw a “bra” on top of our car.  I told my wife to take it off.  She just stood infront of our car and wondering what and where she would put the bra.  She said the bra is still in good condition.  Can the bra be owned by one of the squatters living along at the side where we parked our car?  Or maybe the bra flew from the service store just infront of our car?  The service store offers wash and dry service. So there is a big possibility.

But they said its not theirs.  They say the bra was thrown from one of the window of the building.  They say there’s a tenant (maybe more) on that area that throw whatever they want out to their window.  Hmmmm even a bra???

Thanks to my wife!

Posted by: chocobread In: wife

I would like to thank my wife for helping me building this blog. I have always seen her doing blog post, redesigning her blogs and even trying to change some source codes of her blog. I, as a noob on blogs, has atleast some knowledge on how it works as I see her do her thing.

She’s the one who set-up this blog, taught me how to write and post on my blog, and even created an avatar for me. You can see my avatar where I am wearing a yellow sando. I actually have one. My mother bought one for me. And it’s the almost the same color of what you see on the avatar. My wife just found that sando very unique. My father even have a colored sando too. His sando is light blue in color.

She’ll be setting up more on this blog. So if you see something new on the sidebar, she’s the one who added it. I just hope it won’t be pink and girly.

My Son’s 1st Birthday Next Year

Posted by: chocobread In: ivan| life

My wife has been telling me about my son’s 1st birthday party plan. We actually want it simple. But God!!! Both our sides have lots and lots of people to invite, all relatives!

I have to invite some of my clients that have become good friends of mine. It does affect our agent-client relationship. And about my wife, she just wants to invite her employers and co-employee who became her good friends, about a total of 7 persons she says. About her good friends since college, she says she might not invite them anymore. I have so many good friends that I can’t invite too. We have to give way to all our relatives.

And another thing, we got to select a place with no stairs. My father-in-law uses “saklay”. So, some of the restaurants on our minds that would be perfect for our financial situation are erased from the list. One way or another, we have to think of a place with no stairs and that’s not heavy on our pockets.
